INNOVATIVE MINERALOGICAL RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY

Scientific mineralogical research and practical technologies ensured the discovery of new chemical elements during the 18th and 19th centuries and contributed to the sustainable development of geological science and practice in the 1960s and 1970s. The study of physical and chemical conditions, the sequence of laws of mineral formation guaranteed a positive search for metallic minerals and effective mining activity. Using the example of metals of the platinum group, copper and tantalum and niobium, the relevance of innovative mineralogical research and technologies for the restoration of domestic industry and the neo-industrial development of the national economy is considered.
