Abstract

There are 11 nickel and cobalt deposits located in the Middle Pobuzhzhia. Some deposits and sections of these deposits also contain industrial quantities of chromium and gold, the content of which has not been studied in detail, and reserves are unknown. Using the example of the Zakhidnolashchivske deposit, the patterns of distribution of associated metals such as chromium, titanium, gold, bismuth, and beryllium have been demonstrated. Given the steady increase in global prices for nickel and cobalt, and advances in industrial extraction technologies for these metals from low-grade ores, it is proposed to develop technologies for the extraction of nickel and cobalt, as well as precious metals and chromium, adapted to Ukrainian ores and Ukrainian environmental legislation.
