Abstract

The geochemical features of the rocks of the geological complexes of the Polokhiv Ore District have been determined. A connection between the chemical type of the metesomatic process and ore formation has been established. It was established that the area of the primary lithium halo corresponds to the geochemical limits of the Polokhiv Ore District and is 192 square kilometers. This is the area of manifestation of lithium metasomatosis, which is associated with rare metal and gold ore mineralization. Within the boundaries of the Polokhiv granite massif, the process of lithium metasomatosis led to the petalatization of granites and pegmatites and the formation of lithium ore bodies composed of petalite. The formation of uranium mineralization within the Ingul ore district is connected with the process of sodium metasomatosis and albitization.
